Clinton's Ditch Cooperative an Independent, New York State Pepsi Cola manufacturer is looking for an IT Administrator/IBM RPG Programmer.  This position is NOT REMOTE and requires daily travel to Cicero, NY!
 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and evaluate existing In-house custom designed IBM iSeries (AS/400) applications using IBM Programming Development Manager (PDM) to develop in CLP/DDS/RPGLE for encoding, testing and debugging programs and procedures in support of Human Resources, Inventory, Production, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable/Billing, Time and Attendance, Costing, Transportation and Trucking and Quality Control
  • Perform Ad hoc reporting via Query/400, SQL and spread sheets requested by employees and external auditors. Knowledge of ODBC.
  • Maintain systems security and user profiles for a Windows Server 2016/2019 via Active Directory, administer Hyper-V virtual machines and create shared folders for collaboration. Grant access to appropriate data files and programs on an IBM iSeries (AS/400) computer system
  • Support Windows Server with a Production Scheduling application (Avail by Arete) accessed via remote desktop by customers through a VPN and Clinton’s Ditch Order Department by Maintaining user profiles granting access to the Server and the Avail software, support remote shared printing, install Windows Updates, and run administrative jobs within the Avail software environment
  • Provide ability to transfer data between servers and for future migration projects
  • Support information needs in ADP Payroll for managers and employees
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 Accounts and Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams)
  • Support and maintain Cloud-based VOIP Phone system
  • Experience with Radio frequency (RF) terminals, access points and networking hardware by Cisco Meraki and terminal emulation software a plus
  • Maintain Operations (OPS) Manual for IT reference by documenting various procedures, list of support contacts, record user information and maintain database of IT equipment
  • Provide Backup and Recovery Support utilizing tapes, external drives, Cloud-based backup service and software
  • End User Support and training
  • Manage company ID badge and security door access software. Create badges for new and existing employees
  • Setup remote access for users via a VPN and Remote Desktop

 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering. Or combined worked experience

Experience: 10+ year of IBM RPG Programming preferred

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts
  • Recommend and develop procedural changes and new systems based on company and departmental needs
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 Desktop Operating System and Windows Server 2016/2019 administration
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
  • Good Troubleshooting skills
  • Good project management skills, operating as part of a team, organizing, planning, and executing projects
